Redondillas, Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz

Hombres necios que acusáis
a la mujer sin razón,
sin ver que sois la ocasión
de lo mismo que culpáis.

Si con ansia sin igual
solicitáis su desdén,
¿por qué queréis que obren bien
si las incitáis al mal?

Combatís su resistencia
y luego con gravedad
decís que fue liviandad
lo que hizo la diligencia.

Parecer quiere el denuedo
de vuestro parecer loco
al niño que pone el coco
y luego le tiene miedo.

Queréis con presunción necia
hallar a la que buscáis,
para pretendida, Tais,
y en la posesión, Lucrecia.

¿Qué humor puede ser más raro
que el que, falto de consejo,
él mismo empaña el espejo
y siente que no esté claro?

Con el favor y el desdén
tenéis condición igual,
quejándoos, si os tratan mal,
burlándoos, si os quieren bien.

Opinión ninguna gana,
pues la que más se recata,
si no os admite, es ingrata,
y si os admite, es liviana.

Siempre tan necios andáis
que con desigual nivel
a una culpáis por cruel
y a otra por fácil culpáis.

¿Pues cómo ha de estar templada
la que vuestro amor pretende,
si la que es ingrata ofende
y la que es fácil enfada?

Mas entre el enfado y pena
que vuestro gusto refiere,
bien haya la que no os quiere
y queja enhorabuena.

Dan vuestras amantes penas
a sus libertades alas
y después de hacerlas malas
las queréis hallar muy buenas.

¿Cuál mayor culpa ha tenido
en una pasión errada:
la que cae de rogada
o el que ruega de caído?

¿O cuál es más de culpar,
aunque cualquiera mal haga:
la que peca por la paga
o el que paga por pecar?

¿Pues para qué os espantáis
de la culpa que tenéis?
Queredlas cual las hacéis
o hacedlas cual las buscáis.

Dejad de solicitar
y después con más razón
acusaréis la afición
de la que os fuere a rogar.

Bien con muchas armas fundo
que lidia vuestra arrogancia,
pues en promesa e instancia
juntáis diablo, carne y mundo.

Re: General's die in Bed (Diego´s Blog)

I think that this video truly refers to Generals die in bed by Charles Yales Harrison . This idea can be show when the soldiers are enjoying the day before going to the war because it show how does the soldiers went drunk in the bar (1:16,My Chemical Romance), so we can see here that the soldiers are enjoying the party by being on the effects of alcohol, we can see here that they are enjoying the day before war. Also the video shows the feeling of fear (War scenes, My Chemical Romance), because we see the expressions on the soldiers faces that shows pain and fear to the dead, when the bombs explode we can see a face of a soldier that is scare about all this and the soldiers are also impacted by their friends dead. This Video can also show some other chapters of Generals die in bed because it shows the feelings of the soldiers throw all the war when they are up the line, so this is a summary for other chapters and it´s a good way to see the feelings of soldiers against dead.

German dinner party

In Germany between World War II (1942) in September in some agricultural fields, today Bremen, there was a house from the Baver's family (a peasant family), this house was build by stone blocks, the roof was of wood perfectly attached, with two floors. If you see through a window you could see a big pot filled with hot soup in the smokestack, this was not a normal soup for this days, it was made only on special occasions, for celebrations, it was made of corn, wheat and some meat, the smell of the soup was in all the house. There were some dirty dishes on the kitchen (it was behind the dinning room, the smokestack was in front of the smokestack, and there was a hall with some books, the floor was of wood, it was old and it made some sound when someone stepped on, there were stairs to the rooms. The reason of the celebration in the Baver's house was because they were hiding the Berman family (refugees, Jewish), this was their first year supporting the Bermans, so they were excited, this family had a lot of luck because they were checked by Germans soldiers  more than thirty times. The Baver family was formed by Björn, the father, Cäcila, the mother, and two kids, Brigitte twelve years old, and Bruno nine years old, while the Berman family was the father Abraham Berman, the mother Julia, and three children, Liza twelve years old, Roxane fifteen years old and Ken nine years old, they also had a very playful cat. The bond between the families was forged since the fathers were kids, they went to the same school and work, they were always together, they were like brothers because it was a very strong relationships. Björn never told anyone that he was a Nazi in his childhood, but he decided to leave it and help people.
This night was a nice one, there was some classical music playing in the phonograph, Abraham told a story of how does his father went to Germany and how he made a enormous profit, and how does he met Björn, and Björn told the story of how does he met his wife, so every moment was interesting in the table, they joke, they ate the special soup, some fresh bread, and a little wine, they were enjoying the party until the night was set and they saw some vehicles approaching to the house, so the Berman hide in some kind of special room below the floor, it was small, it was good for this situations, the Germans came and knocked the door they enter and they started to check the house, suddenly some sound came from the room, Ken steeped on a wooden board, and the soldiers came rapidly there, there was a big silence, and surprisingly the cat jumped from a hole and ran, the soldiers were very scared, then they checked again and they didn't find anything in the house, finally they leave, and the dinner continue....
